Thunderbird provides a fast and easy way to manage multiple email addresses, with support for POP3 and IMAP mailboxes. It has an intuitive user interface, multiple-calendar features, a solid address book function, and all local messages and attachments are stored in a local profile folder. It's free to use.The UI changes from time to time, which can slow you down and break automation scripts. The built-in calendar sometimes doesn't capture events from emails with ICS attachments.
