The billing and time functions are really good in my opinion. Running invoices individually or in a batch is simple and straightforward, and while doing so it correctly adjusts individual matter/client ledgers correctly. The contact fields are easy to modify and format, even for someone with no experience doing so. The software does correctly handle payments and IOLTAs, pulling fees from operating while crediting the entire amount paid to the client's ledger. The integration with Propay (which they also own) is relatively seamless.N/A.

It does a good job of time tracking, billing, and invoicing as well as trust account bookkeeping. It performs its core tasks well and that is always a benefit when running a business.The invoicing setup, while adequate, lacks simple functions that I found useful in other software I have used before. The recurring billing options are limited and only the payment plan for an existing balance is really customizable. The Rocket Matter mobile app is a disgrace in 2022 and frankly works so poorly and inconsistently that it's not worth the effort to even try to use it. The site doesn't scale or alter its layout when accessed from a mobile device, so you are constantly dragging the screen around to get any small task done. I am not thrilled they keep adding new features before making the current ones work correctly and/or better.

The software is user friendly and easy to navigate.Constant problems with slow service. Accounting feature does not integrate well with QUICKBOOKS. Reports functions are limited. Company lags behind on Ad In integration with Microsoft Products. We had serious issues for over one month while RM engineering was “investigating” the problem. Our assigned customer service representative was rude and refused to take any responsibility on behalf of RM. we have moved to a monthly plan and will change platforms. RM looks great on the surface, but once you begin using same, you will find it is inefficient, clunky and not at all robust.
