Geekbot makes it very easy to prompt our engineers via Slack, offering a couple of very easy straightforward questions: What did you learn today; How will you use that in production? This ease of use and consistency makes viewing the results very fast. Of course, if they are simply too busy, it can easily be dismissed, so it doesn't become annoying, and therefore continues to be used.I can honestly say that since using Geekbot, I have not found a single issue with it. Maybe we could use more of its potential, but for what we need right now, it is 100% the correct tool for the job.

Integration with Slack is incredibly useful and simple. Keeps myself as well as my team up to date with progress.If I forget to post a response for a check-in and decide to do that the next day before the check-in time, I will not be prompted for a response. Geekbot should ask for a response exactly as scheduled and should not depend on whether you've given a response that day or not.

It's so amazing that Geekbot allows for multi-time zone settings so that each of my team members no matter where they are, are able to send updates on their time. Furthermore it is amazing that Geekbot allows for reminders and is automatically scheduled to run and the fact that all you need to do is chat back to it as if you're talking to a real person is amazing a super useful.I do wish that there were more customization options for teams such as allowing us to rename the posts so that it does not just say "Geekbot posted" but rather allow for some customization that alerts of who actually used the Geekbot to make a post.
