The intuitive way that the program is made allows me to strengthen my brand in ways I never thought of. So I know what a webinar is. I'm a technology coach, but I NEVER thought about webinars being a critical factor in anything I did until Arlo; now, they are essential in revenue and lead generation. All of this was just built into a product I purchased because I needed to manage my coaching business (my filesystem folding was no longer working)
The Knowledge Base has been my best friend since I started. The more I used and learned Arlo easier it was for me to find solutions in the Knowledge BAse. I have never had really time to study, but now have learned a lot and rarely need to email support, who is phenomenal !! Thank you Krystal for everything!
The most useful part of Arlo is how it links all of our systems together, we're able to channel a customer from booking to course completion easily. The previous systems we used had to be far more segmented which was frustrating.
-Bringing the website, student management, and accounting into one workflow. -Ease of use for students and registrants. -Our previous student management software belonged in the museum of natural history.
It provides the backend and structure to quickly launch your training program registration and purchasing. It provides the framework for more advanced features that can be added when you need them. They've thought everything trough
I like that most messages are automated and the looks of the messages and website. You can design colours the same as your business logo etc
It is an integrated solution. We replaced 7 various software needed to manage our learning center (e.g. wordpress, registration software, calendar, CRM) with a single integrated solution: Arlo. In addition, Arlo gives us some automation that we never had before (e.g. sending group lists, certificates, invoices automatically). It's a HUGE time saver, increases the quality, reduce errors and improves client experience.
It streamlines all our admin time and allows us to focus on important stuff outside of admin It automates the admin so has saved us on getting a new admin which saves costs
For our company, it reduces my workload so much and also allows my colleagues to go onto the system and see the bookings at a glance. We previously relied on spreadsheets that were not always accurate and up to date.
I wish there were a tier for startups with 0. I jumped into this without followers, leads, income, or expenses. While worth it, it is a burden, but the alternative is to choose one of the cheaper apps, and then you get yourself in situations I've been in, either no life lesson, no scheduling in-app, or no built-in marketing. I digress. Yeah a reasonable tier for startups
Explanations for more situations due to logistics, and what we or others use it forcan be very different from another. Possibly on site in the US & Canada ,a Help Centre for the time zones
The only downsides are in some of the automated emails that get sent out. when course venues change the email will imply the date has changed too, highlighting the date and not the venue change.
-Would like more editing options for invoices after they've been sent. Example: adding a tax exemption after an invoice has been sent. - The generic website is excellent but does put limiters on the design (which Arlo makes clear, so it is not a surprise). - More scope to add video content throughout the website would be great
It may be challenging to link it to your Learning Management System if there's not a built-in integration. However, there are 3rd party integrations that may be available.
When sensing separate messages to attendees it cannot be send from the platform. Probably something wrong in my setting and need to open a ticket about it. But the automatic email for our webinars where participants are mot checked because we use our own tool. Is most of the time not send.
It is not well suited for providing a bilingual system. That is a huge showstopper for some of our clients. It also does not include a Learning Management System, so we end-up using an external one (Talent LMS) instead of keeping things in Arlo, which was the objective. These two should be your development team's priorities.
Do not like that the charge changes each month dependant on the amount of bookings It is built for the masses, not for the few which makes it hard for us to grow outside of arlo
I have had a few issues with using Zoom that caused me issues. I also wish some of the auto-generated emails could be changed.
