  When configured correctly, Vena is an extremely powerful tool for projecting and tracking budgets and forecasts throughout the year and into the future. It has allowed users to calculate bonuses which was previously done offline due to complexity.Maintenance of the system can be difficult, especially if you were not part of the design and build. You may sometimes find yourself going down the rabbit hole trying to diagnose problems.

  There were no positive comments mentioned in this segment.Vena lacks a web interface that shows financials, and all financials must be displayed through reports built through Excel. Loading headcount takes up to an hour to load since it needs to be customized. Mapping a report takes too long and takes up too much space. It's hard to audit a complicated report, and reports and input sheets can exist on the same report sheet, which can be confusing. The software learning curve peaks too early, and writing intricate code to help automate financial planning is not practical. Building a three-statement model is a disaster.
