Customers love the idea of having everything in one place and the ton of functionality and features that Salesforce Platform offers. Everything in one place, tracking leads, deals, campaigns and everything else in one system. It has a ton of functionality and never-ending features.None mentioned.

Customers find Salesforce Platform difficult to set up and use without a dedicated admin or sales ops person, but appreciate the benefits of having everything related to sales and marketing in one place. Getting everything related to sales and marketing in one place. The biggest thing for us right now is being able to track sales opportunities. Enabling us to see open opportunities, what the next steps are, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. As we get more closed-won deals, it's also helping us further develop our Ideal Customer Profile and thus, enabling better outreach and additional sales opportunities.Having Salesforce at an early-stage startup (seed stage) is amazingly difficult. Really feels like we need a Salesforce admin, sales ops person, or some type of full time role to make sure everything is set up and running smoothly. We've had the platform for a year and still aren't fully using it ... defaulting to spreadsheets all the time.

Customers find Salesforce Platform overly complex and expensive for smaller companies, and more suitable for larger enterprises. The system is quite intelligent, it has lots of functions and apps, perhaps overly complex for a company our size. We used lightening as part of JobScience. It is a great piece of software for large companies, loads of apps that can be built in.It is more geared towards large companies (Enterprise) 300+ users to get the full use from it. In my opinion if you are looking at this product and your company is under 200-300 people is can be very dear for what you get.
